Description West Orange Women's Care, LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Ocoee, FL. As a full-time member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. Job Overview: As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our physicians and nurses to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will be responsible for assisting with patient exams, administering medications and phlebotomy, collecting and processing lab samples, and maintaining accurate medical records. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring the overall efficiency of our clinic operations. Responsibilities: Assist healthcare providers with patient exams and procedures Administer medications, phlebotomy and injections Collect and process lab samples for testing Perform routine medical procedures and blood pressure checks, vital signs Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic health record system Ensure all medical equipment is properly sterilized and maintained Appointment scheduling, scribe, enter orders and prescriptions Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times Team player with a positive attitude and desire to help others Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required At least 1 year of OB/GYN experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic health record systems BLS certification required We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
