Therapy Technician – Forest Hills Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Therapy Technician to join the team at our Forest Hills Queens clinic. Responsibilities Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5‑star customer service. Collaborate with the team to ensure patients receive the care and support they need. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous customer service experience. Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task. A strong attention to detail and willingness to grow. Athletic experience is a plus. Passion for the field of physical and occupational therapy. Proactive, collaborative, team‑oriented attitude—no silos. Dedication to rehabilitating patients’ injuries and fostering their confidence and vitality. Manual dexterity and general strength and endurance required. Ability to lift routinely loads of 5–35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead. Ability to carry routinely loads of 5–10 pounds for 40–50 feet. Ability to push routinely loads of 5–150 pounds on casters, runners or pulleys. Ability to sustain a grip routinely for 1–2 minutes of 40–50 pounds.
