Position Overview

• Carry out diverse ultrasound examinations, engaging in abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Guarantee patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each phase of the procedure with empathy
• Partner closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging
• Manage and upkeep imaging equipment while promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
