Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues by reviewing diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Collaborate with surgeons to establish and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital support during surgeries by preparing the operating room, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and providing education to patients

Education

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution
• Experience in clinical rotations with a focus on surgical care is highly desirable

Certifications

• Active and clear PA-C certification mandatory
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
