Job Title: Associate Project Manager Job Description

This role is responsible for planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to ensure the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives. The position involves ensuring that programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints. The role requires interfacing with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, secure, and manage resources to achieve program goals.
• Ensure all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Communicate with peers to explain facts, basic analysis processes, and practices.
• Identify, define, and address problems within a narrow scope.
• Create and manipulate pivot tables, vlookups, and perform data analysis using Excel.
• Generate and submit reports in multiple formats/systems based on client/internal requests.
• Communicate effectively with various departments to provide updates and ensure project progression.
• Develop solutions to keep projects on track if timelines are not achievable.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, including formula creation, pivot tables, vlookups, and x lookups.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with various departments.
• Experience with report generation using multiple software applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Desire to obtain PMP Certification.
• Experience with Jira, Scheduling, Finance, Proposal Writing, Power BI, Project Management, SharePoint, MS Project, Invoicing, Change Orders, and Cash Flow.

This position offers a hybrid work environment with three days in the office in Walled Lake and two days remote. This is a Contract position based out of Walled Lake, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
