This role will support the identification, evaluation, execution, and negotiation of acquisition and divestment opportunities across our renewable energy portfolio.The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across development, finance, legal, engineering, commercial, and asset management teams, as well as with external advisors, counterparties, investors, and other market participants.This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, highly analytical professional with experience in business development, M&A, acquisitions, divestments, transaction execution, valuation, and strategic portfolio management within infrastructure, energy, renewables, or related sectors.What you’ll doIdentify, assess, and support acquisition and divestment opportunities aligned with business strategyLead or support transaction workstreams from origination through execution and closeBuild and review financial models, valuation analyses, and investment casesCoordinate due diligence processes across internal and external stakeholdersSupport negotiations of transaction terms and manage key commercial issuesPrepare presentations, investment papers, teasers, and other decision materialsWork collaboratively with legal, finance, tax, engineering, and development teams to assess risks and structure solutionsHelp maintain a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities in target marketsSupport market intelligence, competitor analysis, and strategic portfolio reviewsEngage with advisors, counterparties, and external stakeholders in a professional and credible mannerWhat we’re looking forSignificant experience in business development, M&A, acquisitions, divestments, transaction execution, or corporate developmentStrong financial acumen and experience with valuation, investment analysis, and/or financial modellingExperience working in renewable energy, infrastructure, energy transition, utilities, investment banking, advisory, private equity, or a similar environmentProven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsHigh attention to detail, commercial judgement, and a proactive mindsetAbility to work collaboratively across functions and with senior stakeholdersDegree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related field preferredWhy you’ll want to work with usWe offerCompetitive compensation plus an annual bonusHealth, dental, prescription, and vision care for US team members starts on your first day of employmentRetention bonusesFour weeks of vacation and three weeks of sick leave annually plus 11 paid holidays401(k) plan, with a 3% nonelective employer contributionHybrid working environment (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in office, Monday and Friday remote)Monthly personal phone bill reimbursement of up to $100 and a monthly commuter benefit of up to $150Lifestyle Savings Account and moreWhy you’ll want to work with usOur company is a place where you can be yourself and grow – a place where your ideas and opinions matter.Be you: We pride ourselves on being an inclusive community, where every individual is valued and treated with respect.Be responsible: Our culture is driven by our core values.
