Macon R-1 School District is seeking a High School BuildingSecretary
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to work with students faculty and the general public in a diplomatic friendly manner
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to the building principal and assistant principal.
- Greet visitors answer phones and assist students families staff and the public
- Prepare correspondence maintain files and create and manage shared Google documents
- Maintains daily student and visitor sign in/out sheets.
- Verifies student absences daily.
- Manages daily lunch reporting.
- Prepares attendance reports and attendance communication with families.
- Prepares weekly bulletin and sends to all staff parents and students via email facebook post and website.
- Manages student parking permits and tags locker assignments activity passes and commonly used school forms
- Coordinate scheduling with outside vendors for school pictures meetings and other services
- Assist administration with detention tutoring teacher coverage and substitute coordination
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of school activities and events throughout the year
- Assist with student records and other registrar duties as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Terms of Employment:
Hourly rate/215 days. Salary and work year to be established by the Superintendent.
