Class Summary - Provides a variety of routine accounting office support to various College offices. May perform general office support duties including data entry into administrative software, word processing and filing.

Minimum Education/Training/Experience - Associate Degree required; 2 years of office experience including direct experience with accounting and bookkeeping required.

Preferred Education/Training/Experience - Accounts receivable experience with a governmental entity; community college preferred.

Job Duties - Process all student billing with accuracy. Prepare bank deposits on an as needed/backup basis. Process state tuition exemptions in a timely fashion. Process all contract sponsorship billing including initiating appropriate actions to ensure unpaid invoices are collected in a timely fashion. Process and disburse refunds for tuition and fees, and financial aid in accordance with the college policy, state, and federal regulations. Assist students and/or cashiers who are working with students to resolve problems and/or provide explanations for their tuition and fee billing statements. Execute tasks for student online payment plan maintenance. Performs a variety of basic office support duties such as collating materials, distributing incoming mail, perform document imaging, retrieval and indexing, preparing materials for mailing, completing forms, proofreading typed or printed materials, and/or typing correspondence reports and other materials. Complete Workforce Solutions Cost Obligation Forms as needed. Respond to interdepartmental/intradepartmental inquiries and requests in a timely and accurate manner. Perform de-registration multiple times per semester as needed. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.

Physical Requirements - No or very limited physical effort required. No or very limited exposure to physical risk. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Minimum Salary Range - $36,437

Mid Point Salary Range - .

Maximum Salary Range - $45,546
