Field Service Technician

Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities:Interface with relevant departments to obtain a thorough understanding of NOV products and how they are safely operated, tested, calibrated, and problems are resolved in a timely manner.Travel to customer sites to inspect, install, commission, test, calibrate, repair, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products.Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system.Communicate field failures and feedback reports to appropriate departments.Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.Comply with all NOV company and HSE policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Maintain strong safety cultureBasic math skillsGood listening skills and a passion to learnHigh work ethic, dependability, and detail orientedStrong communication skillsMust be a team playerMust be open to cross-training opportunitiesAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing shop or field siteStand up to 12 hours a dayWalk up to 12 hours a dayBending/stooping up to 12 hours a dayRepetitive movement up to 12 hours dailyLifting weight up to 50lbs regularlyQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in the industry preferred, but not requiredPrevious field service experience preferredJob Info:Job Identification 43560Job Category Field ServicePosting Date 08/14/2026, 02:04 PMJob Schedule Full timeLocations 1901 West 2nd Street, Odessa, TX, 79763, US
