Job Summary

Job Summary

Under direction of an assigned administrator the Speech and Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing and determining eligibility of children with language and speech disorders for formulating goals and objectives and providing instruction to effectively modify language and speech disorders and for coordinating the instructional services with the multidisciplinary assessment team and school staff. The Speech and Language Pathologist provides consultation confers with parents teachers and administrators and coordinates the program within assigned sites; and performs related duties as required

Comments and Other Information

Additional Salary Information:* IUSD will accept up to fifteen years of previous experience.* Upon hiring salary placement will be determined by the number of upper division/graduate level units earned from a WASC accredited four-year college or university. Units must be earned subsequent to the date of the Bachelors degree. * There is a $2000.00 Doctoral stipend.
