CA Brawley, CA 92227, USA Description Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy, following established protocols. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns. Position patients accurately and utilize proper radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure. Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition. Review and evaluate images to ensure image quality and clarity, and make necessary adjustments as needed. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results. Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate. Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including infection control protocols. Participate in continuing education to stay current with industry trends and advancements. Qualifications: Must graduated from an ARRT-approved Radiology Program. Must have a valid Radiologic Technologist license in the state of California. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred. CPR certification (BLS) required. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Strong knowledge of radiologic equipment operation and safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
