Associates – Collaborate with partner-level lawyers, prepare and conduct depositions, motion practice, oral arguments, settlement negotiations, and client reporting. Qualifications Partners – Minimum 9 years’ experience as a licensed lawyer, with at least 3 years in California and 5 years in insurance defense. Associates – Minimum 3 years’ experience as a licensed lawyer, with at least 2 years in California, and 1 year of insurance defense preferred. Compensation by role Partners – $180,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year, based on experience and responsibilities. Lawyers with over 15 insurance defense jury trials may receive additional compensation. Associates – $110,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience and independence.
