Reisz Siderman Eisenberg, APC is seeking attorney candidates for a Non-Equity Partner Position at our established and fast-growing civil litigation defense firm in Los Angeles. This is a supervisory attorney role overseeing matters from inception to resolution, usually paired with one or more associate attorneys. The ideal applicant will have demonstrated leadership and supervision experience, strong research and writing skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, and be licensed to practice law in California. Preferred: Personal injury litigation, habitability litigation, construction defect litigation, insurance coverage litigation, product liability litigation, and/or professional liability litigation. Salary Range: $190,000 – $234,000 (commensurate with experience) Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: Conduct initial senior-level evaluation of claim documentation upon referral and develop initial defense timeline and strategy Conduct defense strategy conferences with clients and insurance claims examiners Coordinate with clients and co-counsel during all phases of discovery; manage all facets of case from discovery through trial Organize and maintain case files; coordinate with secretaries and other staff Review and analyze discovery requests and prepare discovery responses Supervise document reviews with legal team, clients, and vendors Assist with document reviews for responsiveness, case issues, and privilege responses to discovery requests and to identify privileged documents, documents for redaction, case issues in context Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial Prepare court filings Keep accurate time records for fees to clients Qualifications and skills of ideal candidate include: JD degree and California bar license in good standing 5 or more years of litigation experience Leadership, management, or case supervision experience Non-equity partner candidates with experience in one or more of the following legal areas are preferred: personal injury litigation, habitability litigation, construction defect litigation, insurance coverage litigation, product liability litigation, and/or professional liability litigation Strong, concise communication and writing skills Experience in taking and defending depositions Experience in reporting to insurance carriers preferred Experience in preparing/drafting/arguing demurrers, motions to strike, motions for summary adjudication/judgment preferred Familiarity with written and oral discovery is required 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Please submit a cover letter and resume by email to Office Manager, Jack Witcher, View email address on click.appcast.io. #J-18808-Ljbffr Reisz Siderman Eisenberg, APC
