Focus Staff is seeking a travel Medical Lab Scientist for a travel job in Crow Agency, Montana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Medical Lab Scientist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Crow Agency, Montana is a highly unique destination for a travel Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), primarily centered around serving the Crow Indian Reservation and working at the local IHS (Indian Health Service) clinic or hospital. Cultural & Community Impact: Work directly with the Apsáalooke (Crow) Nation. This is an incredible opportunity to provide vital diagnostic services to an underserved community and practice cross-cultural medicine. True Generalist Experience: In a rural, critical-access facility like this, you will keep your skills sharp across all benches—including Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and basic Blood Bank. Outdoor Adventure & American History: Crow Agency is minutes away from the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument and surrounded by Montana’s legendary Big Sky country—ideal for hiking, fishing, and photography. Two year associate’s degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field from an accredited institution. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by a recognized certifying body (e.g ASCP, AMT). 2-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Phlebotomy required. Clinical Laboratory Scientists and Laboratory Technicians must be proficient in major areas of the clinical laboratory, such as clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank, serology, urinalysis, microbiology, and molecular testing. Work Schedule: Schedules will be coordinated with each Service Unit Laboratory Supervisor. Hospitals require 24/7 coverage. Holidays and weekends included.
