Role:- SAP S/4HANA Material - Semiconductor or High-tech Industrial exp Master Functional Architect Location:- Fremont CA( Onsite) Mode of Hire:- FTE/Subcon Payrate:- $190K Annum / $100/h USD Visa:- Any JD SAP S/4HANA Master Data Management Functional Architect- Semiconductor Industry- Semiconductor Industry Job Description | Fremont, CA Position Summary The SAP S/4HANA Material Master Functional Architect serves as the Central Data Team's functional expert for Material Master data. This role partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and Digital Transformation program to design, implement, govern, and continuously improve Material Master processes and data across the enterprise. The successful candidate will possess deep SAP S/4 Material Master expertise with strong business process knowledge, to support enterprise-wide master data initiatives and SAP S/4HANA transformation programs. Key Responsibilities Serve as the Central Data Team's functional expert for SAP S/4HANA Material Master and related master data processes. Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs, specifications, and SAP solutions. Lead Material Master discovery workshops, solution design discussions, configuration activities, testing, and deployment support. Drive Material Master data design, standardization, and process harmonization across business functions and enterprise systems. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, PLM, MES, and IT teams to ensure effective end-to-end process integration related to material master data. Required Qualifications & Experience 8+ years of SAP Material Master experience, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementations. Strong functional expertise in Material Master data, configuration, data models, and lifecycle management processes. Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional designs, specifications, and SAP solutions. Proven experience leading Material Master design, implementation as part of ERP transformation programs. Hands-on experience with data profiling, cleansing, mapping, conversion, validation, reconciliation, and migration cutover activities. Strong understanding of end-to-end integration between Material Master and Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, PLM, and MES systems. Experience with SAP MDG, Informatica CDGC/IDMC, or similar master data governance and quality platforms is preferred. Experience working with global stakeholders in manufacturing environments, along with strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
