Human Resources Generalist

Salary: $70,000-$85,000 per year DOE/DOQ Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) Reports To: Human Resources Director 403(b) Retirement Plan Paid Holidays Vacation, Sick Leave & Float Days Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance & Wellness Programs LifeFlight Membership Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support the Human Resources Director in the administration of HR programs and services. This position plays a key role in employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, recruitment support, and organizational development. Key Responsibilities Support HR operations, including benefits administration, leave management, onboarding, and employee programs. Assist with employee relations, performance management, investigations, and disciplinary processes. Coordinate new hire orientation, employee recognition programs, and training initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices. Maintain HR records, reports, and HRIS data. Support compensation, benefits, recruitment, and talent management activities. Partner with leadership to provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee matters. Stay current on employment law, HR trends, and regulatory changes. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of Human Resources experience. SHRM-CP certification or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Preferred: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilities. SHRM-SCP certification. Additional Requirements Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Ability to provide required immunization records. Occasional travel between office locations may be required.
