Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Concord, NC

Assignment Overview

Join our dedicated MedSurg/Tele unit in Concord, NC, providing comprehensive patient care in a well-equipped facility. This role is ideal for highly skilled RNs with experience in cardiac rhythm interpretation and stroke management. We seek professionals with 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience who thrive in dynamic and collaborative settings.

Assignment Details

• Shift Details: 3x12 hour shifts, nights (0650-1910; 1850-0710)
• Assignment Length: Not provided
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
• Charting System: EPIC
• Floating required within a designated region, providing flexible support across various units as needed
• Local Candidate Policy: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
• Weekend rotation: every other
• Holiday Expectations: Work 75% of holidays

Responsibilities

• Manage cardiac rhythm interpretation and stroke care
• Provide tracheostomy care and perform PIV starts
• Oversee chest tube management and medication gtt management, including cardiac drips and Heparin
• Perform chest pain evaluation and manage blood products and IVF
• Assist with admissions and discharges as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

Required:

• 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience with stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, and various forms of drain management
