Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Turnersville, New Jersey is seeking a skilled overnight clinical pharmacist to support its inpatient pharmacy operations on a temporary basis. This 13-week maternity leave assignment begins mid to late November, including a training period.
Schedule & Location:
- Monday through Sunday, working 7 days on then 7 days off
- Overnight shift from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Based in Turnersville, NJ, serving inpatient pharmacy needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and dispense medications to patients
- Perform final verifications ensuring medication safety and compliance
- Manage Pyxis machine refills and inventory
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize pharmaceutical care
Required Qualifications:
- Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license
- Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings
- Competence in medication dispensing and verification procedures
- Open to recent graduates with recent inpatient rotation experience
- Compounding skills are advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is preferred
