Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Turnersville, New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Overnight Pharmacist to support their inpatient pharmacy operations during a 13-week maternity leave assignment. This role offers a unique 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, providing work-life balance while playing a crucial part in patient care.
Location: Turnersville, NJ
Schedule:
- Overnight shift
- Monday through Sunday
- 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 7 days on, 7 days off
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and dispense medications to inpatient units
- Perform final medication verifications ensuring safety and compliance
- Refill Pyxis medication cabinets to maintain inventory
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support quality patient care
Qualifications:
- Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license required
- Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings highly preferred
- Compounding experience is beneficial, but not mandatory
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system is preferred
- Recent pharmacy graduates with inpatient rotation experience are encouraged to apply
