With strong mentorship and career development opportunities, this role provides a path toward advanced positions in accounting and finance leadership. \n Accountabilities: As a Client Accountant, you will manage full-cycle accounting activities for a diverse portfolio of clients while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to maintain strong financial operations, improve processes, and provide valuable accounting insights. Deliver comprehensive accounting support to clients, including accounts payable and receivable management, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and payroll-related activities. Prepare and review monthly financial statements while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established accounting practices. Support clients throughout onboarding and ongoing engagement phases by understanding their business needs and implementing effective accounting processes. Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and proactive identification of opportunities to improve financial performance. Stay current with accounting standards, financial technology advancements, and industry best practices to provide high-quality guidance. Collaborate with Accounting Managers, Controllers, Finance Managers, and colleagues to balance workloads, share knowledge, and improve operational efficiency. Participate in training, process improvement initiatives, and documentation efforts to strengthen team capabilities and service delivery. Follow structured workflows while contributing ideas to optimize existing procedures and enhance client outcomes. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a remote environment. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent communication and service standards. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including month-end close responsibilities. Experience managing transactional accounting processes using platforms such as QuickBooks Online. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational finance processes. Experience with tools such as Bill.com, Expensify, or similar accounting technologies is highly preferred. QuickBooks Online certification or comparable accounting software expertise is a plus. Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and advanced attention to detail. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams. Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality client service. Comfortable working with technology and learning new tools and processes. Experience working in a remote environment is preferred.
