An immediate opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist to work the night shift at a 200-bed community hospital in Indiana. This role centers on providing expert pharmaceutical care within the inpatient hospital setting, contributing to patient safety and optimal medication management.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently within a hospital inpatient setting
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
• Monitor pharmacokinetics and adjust medication dosing as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and communication

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana pharmacist license
• Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy practice
• Ability to work night shifts consistently
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Familiarity with EPIC system preferred
