A night shift pharmacist role is available at a 200-bed community hospital in Indiana, offering a valuable opportunity for experienced pharmacists licensed in Indiana. This contract position begins ASAP with a 6-month assignment and the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Location:

• Liberty, Indiana

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Night shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Manage pharmacokinetic monitoring and dose adjustments
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care plans
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system effectively during pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital inpatient pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work night shifts consistently
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy practices
• Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary collaborations
