Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists with experience in educational settings, especially those comfortable working with severe-profound populations and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Openings are available at elementary, middle, and high schools for the 2026-2027 academic year, with full-time and part-time schedules to fit your availability.

Successful candidates will bring expertise in school-based speech therapy, compassion for diverse student populations, and strong collaboration skills. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply; supervision will be provided to help you thrive as you begin your career. Please note: SLP Assistants and virtual candidates will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active FL SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Background working in academic environments or school-based caseloads
• Experience supporting students with severe-profound disabilities and proficiency with AAC devices and strategies required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Dedicated to culturally responsive and student-centered service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech/language services to students as part of the school team
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Support transitions and consult on classroom communication strategies
• Maintain timely records and progress reports in accordance with district standards
