Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across Volusia County as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Multiple immediate contract opportunities are available for the upcoming school year, ideal for professionals eager to foster communication skills in diverse school environments. These positions vary by location, serving elementary, middle, and high school populations, with both full-week and part-time schedules. Supervision is provided for Clinical Fellows (CFs), ensuring a supportive transition into school-based settings. Please note, only onsite SLPs with Florida licensure are eligible at this time.

Key Qualifications:

• Florida Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP - CCC or Clinical Fellows accepted)
• Demonstrated experience working with severe-profound populations and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Commitment to in-person service; virtual candidates and SLPAs cannot be considered
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, direct therapy for students with a range of communication needs
• Complete assessments and develop individualized IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
• Maintain accurate student records and timely documentation
• Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate diverse student populations and learning environments
• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams

Role Details & Benefits:

• Contract roles starting August 4th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027
• 5-day, 3-day, and 2-day schedules available at multiple school sites
• Full-time weekly hours: 37.5
• Clinical fellows supported with supervision for ASHA certification
