Requirements:

• Active Florida SLP License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• School-based experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-age children
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, staff, and families
• Able to work independently while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team

Key Duties:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students at Volusia Pines Elementary and Taylor Middle-High
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and families to address students' unique needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist with documentation and compliance
• Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds

This contract position spans the academic year, from August 4, 2026 through May 28, 2027, delivering a solid 37.5-hour workweek onsite at two schools within the district.
