You'll enjoy a school-based schedule, working 37.5 hours per week, starting August 4th, 2026 through May 28th, 2027.


Assignments span vibrant school communities at both Volusia Pines Elementary in Lake Helen and Taylor Middle-High in Pierson. Collaborate closely with dedicated educators and families to foster communication skills in diverse students.


Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Active Florida SLP License required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Comfort traveling between multiple school locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with state and local standards
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
