Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunities are available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in a diverse and collaborative school setting. Multiple in-person positions are open for the upcoming school year, with flexible options ranging from part-time to full-time engagement across several school sites near Sanford, FL. Support and supervision are readily available for Clinical Fellows, fostering professional development and a rewarding experience. Please note, SLPAs and virtual candidates are not eligible for these positions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; strong CFs welcome with supervision provided
• Previous schools-based SLP experience
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with severe-profound disabilities
• Expertise in implementing and supporting augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
• Adaptable, compassionate, and eager to collaborate with educational teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services within a school setting, addressing students’ IEP goals
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and social communication disorders
• Work closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote best outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to the development of service plans, and maintain thorough documentation
• Serve in part-time or full-time roles as needed at locations including elementary, middle, and high schools
• Maintain current records and ensure compliance with school and district policies

Positions will be available beginning August 4, 2026, continuing through May 28, 2027. Opportunities are open across several sites including DeBary Elementary, University High School, T. Dewitt Taylor Middle High School, Champion Elementary, Hinson Middle, and Volusia Pines Elementary.
