Plant Manager

Our client, a growing food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead all aspects of manufacturing operations at one of its production facilities. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, food safety, employee engagement, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Provide overall leadership for plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, warehouse, shipping, and receiving. Drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvement initiatives across the facility. Lead, develop, and mentor plant leadership while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Partner with Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure customer expectations, production schedules, and inventory goals are achieved. Develop and manage plant budgets while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and reduce cost. Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance. Support capital projects, equipment improvements, and long‑term operational planning. Ensure compliance with all food safety, regulatory, and environmental standards. Qualifications 5+ years of Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leadership experience. Food manufacturing experience is required. Experience in frozen food manufacturing is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes, maintenance, and operational excellence. Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is strongly preferred. Proven success implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Experience leading USDA and/or FDA regulated manufacturing facilities. Working knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, and food safety systems. Bachelor's degree preferred, with an Engineering degree considered a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Redline Recruits
