Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young children as a Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in early childhood (ages 3–5), within a comprehensive community-based program. This role serves families across East Multnomah County, primarily in Southwest Portland, with services provided at homes and community preschools—no clinics or virtual settings involved. Collaborate closely with region-based teams and benefit from structured schedules, with work hours running Monday through Friday, 8 am to 3:30 pm.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active Oregon SLP License (CCC or CFY welcomed)
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric or early childhood speech-language pathology, preferably in educational or home/community settings
• Familiarity with IEP processes for early childhood special education (ECSE), or willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Access to reliable transportation for visiting homes and preschools within designated regions
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to preschoolers, supporting communication, social, and developmental milestones
• Travel to homes and various preschool settings to provide individualized support
• Complete assessments, maintain clear documentation, and contribute to IEP development through the program’s digital system (with training provided)
• Participate in paid team meetings and indirect hours for comprehensive case management
• Engage in ongoing professional development and program-wide initiatives
• Support and, if qualified, supervise clinical fellows as needed
