We support our employees, so they can support our mission.THE WORKAs a Cyber RF Software Engineer Senior Staff, my typical day is filled with excitement and energy as I tackle a variety of challenges and responsibilities. Each day as a team lead, I oversee one or more software development teams and ensure that our work is excellent and matches or exceeds the outline of the software development process being used on any particular project. I'm passionate about mentoring and guiding my team members, and I enjoy watching them grow and develop their skills. When I'm not designing and coding new software or modifying existing code to add new features, I'm debugging existing software and correcting defects. I'm meticulous about my work, and I take pride in ensuring that our software is reliable and efficient. I also make recommendations for improving our documentation and software development process standards, because I believe that's essential to delivering high-quality products. I'm also responsible for integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments, which requires a deep understanding of C++, K8, Python 3.0, GIT, and CI/CD pipeline. I'm super familiar with Agile Sprint Development methodologies, and I've worked on a range of projects that involve Digital Signal Processing and related RF technologies. • Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.Basic Qualifications• Active security clearance with polygraph.• Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a DSP focus from an accredited institution. Equivalency: MS in Engineering/CS + 2 years experience OR 4 years DSP experience + high school diploma • Minimum 4  years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects that follow established software processes.• Minimum 4  years of professional programming experience using C++, Linux, Python (or comparable languages).Desired Skills• Programming Language experience: C++, Python 3.0• DevOps and Cloud Technology experience: Kubernetes (K8), CI/CD pipeline• Version Control and Collaboration experience: GIT• Software Development Methodology experience: Agile / Sprint Development• Digital Signal Processing (DSP): Signal Experience: DSP (Digital Signal Processing), Short Burst Duration/Hopping DSP detect/processing/MUX Signals• Signal Detection and Processing Techniques: Energy Detection/Channelization, DSS (Digital Signal Synthesizer)• RF protocol experience (i.e. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LTE, 5G)• RF Applications experience• RF Signal Processing experiencePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
