Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations through teamwork, and act with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an industrial chemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and suspicious behavior according to post instructions.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and following site rules for restricted areas, vehicle traffic, and/or material handling zones.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
