Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:6. Approximately half of scheduled shifts will include weekends. 19-bed unit with private and semi-private rooms serving a diverse patient population from young adults through geriatrics.

• Work with a broad range of patient care needs in a well-equipped telemetry-capable environment
• Epic charting system utilized for all documentation
• Collaborative team environment with access to physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Orientation provided to ensure smooth transition into the unit

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, IV management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and medical-surgical patient populations
• Proficiency in skills including blood product administration, central line management, wound care, and PCA pumps
• Candidates must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
