Job Description Job Description Adecco Healthcare & Life Science is working with our client to hire a Medical Assistant in Prescott, AZ . This is an in-person/on-site role . Type: Contract - possibility of extension Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $21 to $24/hour Primary Responsibilities Include: * Take and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history, and update their records. * Help providers with exams, minor procedures, injections, and other treatments. * Collect and prepare lab samples, and follow safety and sterilization guidelines. * Schedule patients, process referrals, authorizations, and prescriptions. * Explain instructions to patients and support clinic staff as needed. * Keep exam rooms, equipment, and supplies clean and organized; restock items. * Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately for records and billing.
