Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed PT, including treatment planning and progression within an LTAC setting
- Document patient activity, responses to therapy, and progress toward goals; adjust plans of care as needed
- Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, functional mobility activities, and wheelchair transfers
- Monitor patient status, report changes, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize care
- Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality in all interactions
- Collaborate with PTs and other staff to ensure consistent, quality care across the patient population

Requirements
- Active Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to submit with ETA for license approval
- PTA certification in good standing as required by state licensing
- Ability to work in a LTAC setting and participate in a travel assignment
- Availability for a 13-week assignment with 32 guaranteed hours per week
- Day shift availability on an on-site assignment in Prescott, AZ
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
