Responsibilities: Support attorneys in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and protective order cases. Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, financial statements, and correspondence. Maintain case files and manage deadlines with strong attention to detail. Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Assist with trial preparation, mediation preparation, and hearing organization. Help clients feel informed, supported, and organized during difficult periods in their lives. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of Maryland family law paralegal experience required. Experience with required billable hours. Experience with discovery matters. Experience supporting attorneys in litigation matters and courtroom preparation. Strong organization, writing, and communication skills. Detail-oriented and highly reliable. Ability to manage emotionally sensitive situations professionally and calmly. Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a team. Genuinely care about doing excellent work and helping clients move forward. A sense of humor and positive perspective. Focus on solutions, not problems. Compensation: $57,000 - $68,000 yearly
