Product Support AnalystThe Texas Education Agency (TEA) requires the services of 1 Product Support Analyst 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Product Support Analyst 3, Technical Services, Help Desk and Operations and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Education Agency. The selected candidate will serve as the Product Owner for the migration of the Unique ID (UID) application v11 to Unique ID v2026. The candidate will lead planning, coordination, and execution activities to ensure successful delivery of the new UID application and will serve as a primary business liaison between TEA stakeholders, development teams, and the third-party vendor.Product Ownership & Project ManagementServe as the Product Owner for the migration of the Unique ID (UID) application v11 to Unique ID v2026.Lead planning, coordination, and execution activities to ensure successful delivery of the new UID application.Serve as a primary business liaison between TEA stakeholders, development teams, and the third-party vendor.Manage project timelines, priorities, risks, dependencies, and key milestones.Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders, technical teams, leadership, and the third-party vendor.Provide regular project status updates, identify potential issues, and recommend mitigation strategies.Business Analysis & Requirements ManagementDevelop a thorough understanding of the current Unique ID application, business processes, and stakeholder needs.Analyze existing system functionality and identify opportunities for process improvements, modernization, and increased efficiency.Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and other product management artifacts.Ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements.Testing & Quality AssuranceCoordinate and support system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production readiness activities.Validate that system functionality meets business requirements and acceptance criteria.Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure testing coverage addresses critical business processes and scenarios.Support go-live readiness assessments and post-implementation stabilization activities.Documentation & Knowledge TransferCreate and maintain project documentation, business process documentation, requirements, and operational procedures.Document current-state and future-state business processes and system functionality.Develop knowledge transfer materials to support long-term operational success.Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with agency standards.Support training and on-boarding activities for internal teams and stakeholders.Skills & QualificationsProduct Ownership (PO): Experience serving as a PO overseeing requirements, prioritization, and solution deliveryProject Management: Management of complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, & deliverablesSoftware Documentation: Familiarity with documenting software issues, release notes, and technical guidesVendor Coordination: Experience coordinating activities, deliverables, & issue resolution efforts w/ external vendorsCollaboration: Strong ability to work closely with cross-functional teamsCommunication: Excellent communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teamsAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation tasksTraining and Support: Experience in training other team membersCustomer Service: Experience in customer service, with strong communication skillsTexas Student Data System (TSDS): LEA/vendor-level experience working with the TSDS and its data collectionsTechnical Writing: Proven experience in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation
