Role Description The Assistant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in West Seneca, NY. This role supports the club's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, facility upkeep, and ensuring equipment and amenities are clean, safe, and ready for use. The Assistant Operations Manager helps oversee front desk activities, membership services, and member issue resolution to deliver a positive and consistent experience. This position assists with staff scheduling, training, and performance support, and helps ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines. The role also collaborates with club leadership to support sales initiatives and member engagement activities. Qualifications Strong operations and organizational skills, including facility oversight, scheduling, and basic administrative coordination. Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with members, staff, and community partners. Leadership and team-support skills, such as mentoring staff, promoting accountability, and fostering a collaborative environment. Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address member concerns, safety issues, and day-to-day operational challenges. Basic business and sales awareness, with an interest in membership growth, retention, and club performance metrics. Prior experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or club management is beneficial; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and postsecondary education in business, sports management, or related fields is a plus.
