Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Ortho - Full Time

This full‑time position requires a certified PTA with orthopedic interest and experience. Key Responsibilities The following is a representation of some of the main areas of focus for our Physical Therapist Assistants. Treatment: Execute evidence‑based patient intervention and treatment progressions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, as dictated by the initial evaluation, plan of care, and subsequent progress assessments. Report any changes in patient status or needs to the supervising therapist timely. Communicate treatment variations and provide thorough education, particularly regarding home exercise programs (KEET). Perform safe application of modalities. Documentation: Complete documentation according to Rehab United standards and medical necessity. Documentation requires thorough review and completion by the supervising PT. Billing: Apply appropriate billing codes and collaborate with the billing team for any claims inquiries or discrepancies. Patient Management: Exercise proper scheduling and patient retention practices, communicate with patients, coordinate with the front office, detect gaps in treatment, follow up, and provide status updates. Business Development: Contribute to growth through marketing endeavors such as physician networking, social media participation, and program promotion. Professional Development: Participate in co‑treatment opportunities, seek mentorship, support staff development, engage with RUniversity, and pursue continuing education. All treating PTAs are individually responsible for meeting PTA license maintenance requirements. Team Responsibilities: Assist with opening/closing duties, facility and equipment sanitization, and support other departments as needed (e.g., answering phones). Requirements California Physical Therapy Assistant License or PTALA status. Confident and independent. Comfortable with social media. Desire to learn, teach, and innovate at Rehab United.
