About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night (19:00 - 07:00) / Day (07:00 - 19:00) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in acute care within the past 6 months License: Active New York Single State RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills - IV therapy and phlebotomy experience - Ability to manage nasal cannula and oxygen administration - Knowledge of isolation precautions Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry. Shifts will be either night or day, requiring flexibility. The contract duration is 13 weeks. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring patients and responding to emergencies, including dysrhythmia interpretation. IV therapy and phlebotomy skills are essential for this role. Administration of oxygen and non-invasive airway management is also required. Nurses will float within their skill set and will need to be available every other weekend and holiday as needed. A patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 is expected. Selected candidates must possess an active nursing license and BLS certification. EPIC charting experience is required for this position.
