Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Assistant for our client in Hawthorne, CA! This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated healthcare professional to support a busy primary care office. Apply today if you meet the qualifications below!

Location: Hawthorne, California Hawthorne

Pay: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour

Contract Length: 2-month contract (06/28/2026 - 08/31/2026) with possibility of extension

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

· Provide both clinical and administrative support to a primary care office

· Room patients and obtain vital signs

· Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures

· Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed

· Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR

· Schedule appointments and assist with front office duties

· Support patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations

Qualifications:

· Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical Assistant role

· Medical Assistant certificate required

· Current CPR certification required

· Phlebotomy certification required

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
