GIS Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Manager with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Model N and will be responsible for overseeing GIS projects, ensuring data accuracy, and leading a team of GIS professionals. This hybrid role requires excellent technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of GIS projects to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Oversee the maintenance and updating of GIS databases and software applications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to GIS team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data into various business processes.
- Develop and enforce GIS standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure the accuracy of GIS data.
- Manage GIS project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Analyze spatial data and create detailed maps and reports to support business decision-making.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and trends to continuously improve GIS capabilities.
- Train and mentor junior GIS staff to build a strong and knowledgeable team.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their GIS needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards in GIS operations.
- Drive innovation and efficiency in GIS processes to support the company’s strategic goals.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related field.
- Have extensive experience with Model N and other GIS software applications.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in managing GIS projects and leading teams.
- Have a solid understanding of spatial data analysis and mapping techniques.
- Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
