Job Description

The Customer Service Representative is the front-line for maintaining our level of outstanding customer service, customer satisfaction, customer growth, and customer retention. This role primarily works in support of our Sales Team. Generally responsible for helping customers by facilitating customer requests from general inquiries, orders, shipment information, billing, questions, and complaints through the organization and is empowered to engage all necessary team members to resolve issues.

The ideal person in this role will develop a deep knowledge of Opti-Luxx product solutions across all industry segments and be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to develop long-term relationships to increase revenue.

Essential Job Functions & Expectations

· Professionally handle incoming customer requests and provide accurate information to customers.

· Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support.

· Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions.

· Ongoing communication with the sales team and other departments.

· Responsible for:

o Accurate entry of customer orders and changes.

o Processing of customer invoices and end-of-day reporting.

o Process day-to-day activities related to large OEM customers.

· Able to perform job consistently and without excessive absenteeism or tardiness.

Physical, Mental, & Sensory Requirements

· Able to independently lift up to 20 lbs.

· Able to sit for various lengths of time.

· Able to bend/twist and reach for a limited amount of time.

· Fast paced, team oriented, light manufacturing environment.

· Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting.

Minimum Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in business or marketing preferred.

· Minimum 3 years of previous experience in customer service, inside sales, and/or related sales experience preferred.

· Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience preferred.

· Demonstrated ability in taking initiative to proactively evaluate existing sales strategies and recommend changes, when appropriate.

· Automotive supplier experience is desired.

· Manufacturing or branded-product experience is beneficial.
