JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will have a vital role in caring for each patient like they are your family, no production goals or sales quotas are required in our practice. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy using four handed dentistry techniques
- Conduct patient assessments to include medical history review, creating an individual treatment plan for each pt.
- Patient education, tailored oral hygiene techniques, personalized care
- Utilize Open Dental software for documentation and medical records management
- Collaborate with the dental team
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations
- Current CPR
- OSHA/HIPAA/Radiology knowledge, training
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism
- Ability to handle infection control measures/aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for providing outstanding patient care
- Works well with patients of all ages
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Small private dental office, 5 operatories-each provider has own operatory suite
- All adult patients are scheduled for one hour appointments
- On site laundry facility, scrubs laundered here!
