Production Supervisor
Shift Options: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), or 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM), Monday through Friday
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and oversee a team of production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe workplace, achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and developing employees while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, and labor utilization to support operational requirements.
- Monitor production metrics and prepare daily production reports.
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees through training, performance management, and ongoing feedback.
- Identify and resolve production issues while minimizing downtime and maintaining efficiency.
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehousing, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
- Maintain employee engagement and accountability while fostering a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Supervision, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
