We're looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our fast paced kitchen. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy being creative, and take pride in delivering exceptional food, we'd love to meet you.
We offer a quality work/life balance with full time hours and set schedules, allowing you to enjoy consistency while working alongside a supportive team in a family oriented restaurant.
Conveniently located on the north side of Lake Nockamixon, we're just 10 miles from Doylestown, 7 miles from downtown Quakertown, and about 20 minutes from Bethlehem.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest quality standards in a scratch kitchen.
- Maintain consistency, presentation, and portion control on every plate.
- Create daily and seasonal specials that showcase creativity and culinary skill.
- Prepare fresh, house made soups and other scratch-made recipes.
- Work efficiently during busy service while maintaining food quality and kitchen organization.
- Collaborate with both the front and back of house teams to provide an outstanding guest experience.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with prep work, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Cook in a high volume restaurant.
- Experience working in a scratch kitchen preferred.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
- Creativity and the ability to develop unique specials and soups.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment.
- Dependable, positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Team player who communicates well with both kitchen and front of house staff.
- Passion for preparing exceptional food and continuously improving your craft.
