The company is targeting $50 billion in annual revenue within the decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.What you'll do:Partner closely with Sales and key customers to support revenue growth while maintaining disciplined credit risk managementServe as a senior, client-facing leader—building relationships with strategic accounts and resolving complex credit issuesEstablish and execute credit strategies, policies, and procedures that balance risk and growthLead, coach, and develop a team of Credit Managers, ensuring strong performance, consistency, and alignment with company goalsOversee credit underwriting decisions, including large or complex transactions and exceptions to policyMonitor and manage overall accounts receivable performance, including DSO, delinquency trends, and bad debtDrive proactive risk assessment and ensure timely updates to customer credit profilesLead negotiations on high-risk or delinquent accounts to minimize losses and preserve customer relationshipsOversee third-party collections, legal escalations, lien/bond processes, and bankruptcy activitiesDeliver regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on credit performance, risk exposure, and portfolio healthPartner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Legal to support scalable growthChampion process improvements, systems enhancements, and best practices across the credit functionWhat you'll bring:10+ years of progressive experience in credit, collections, or financial risk managementProven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams (including managing managers)Strong business acumen with the ability to balance risk management and commercial growth objectivesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence both internal stakeholders and external customersExperience working in a client-facing capacity and partnering closely with Sales teamsDeep understanding of accounts receivable management, credit underwriting, and risk assessmentExperience in manufacturing, retail, construction or related industry a plusWorking knowledge of accounting and finance principles; familiarity with lien and bond processes is a plusStrong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credit/ERP systemsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferredWillingness to travel occasionally for customer and business needsWhat you'll earn401(k) with employer matchMedical, dental, and vision insurancePTO, company holidays, and parental leavePaid training and certificationsLegal assistance and identity protectionPet insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP)QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
