Dental Hygienist Capital Smiles – Schenectady, NY Capital Smiles is a leading sedation and general dentistry practice known for exceptional patient care and a supportive, team‑focused environment. We are excited to welcome a full‑time Dental Hygienist who is passionate, driven, and ready to grow with our practice. Schedule Full‑time: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (4‑day workweek, three‑day weekends every week) Part‑time: Monday & Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible) Benefits Competitive pay Bonus structure Comprehensive benefits Free continuing education (CEs) Growth opportunities within a modern, patient‑centered practice Warm, team‑oriented culture Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in New York; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation CPR certification Preferred Experience 1 year of clinical experience Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation Prolonged periods sitting and standing Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (standard requirement) Equal Opportunity Employer We provide all employees and applicants for employment the protections of federal, state, and local laws affording equal opportunity in employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Capital Smiles
