Wellness Director

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nursing leader to oversee wellness programming, support resident care, and help maintain a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment. In this role, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, guide clinical wellness services, and contribute to a positive experience for those entrusted to our care.

Responsibilities

• Lead wellness and nursing-related programs in alignment with organizational policies and care standards.
• Assess resident health needs and coordinate appropriate care plans and follow-up activities.
• Partner with physicians, families, and care teams to support continuity of care.
• Monitor wellness indicators, identify concerns, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support medication management processes and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and protocols.
• Supervise, coach, and support nursing or wellness team members as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
• Promote a respectful, engaging, and supportive environment for residents and team members.
• Assist with staff education, training, and wellness initiatives.
• Respond appropriately to urgent clinical situations and coordinate next steps.

Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in good standing, as required by state or local regulations.
• Experience in nursing leadership, wellness coordination, senior living, healthcare, or a related setting preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Knowledge of care planning, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and accountability.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and electronic documentation platforms preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
