About the Role
The Company is in search of a Market President to take the helm of its Gainesville community banking operation. This pivotal role is not just about managing a branch; it's about owning the market with full accountability for the community bank's balance sheet, income statement, and loan portfolio. The successful candidate will be a seasoned banking leader with a strong background in lending, operations, and personnel management. Responsibilities include leading a team of Loan Officers, Loan Assistants, CSRs, and tellers, driving growth through strategic lending and relationship development, and managing risk across the lending portfolio. The Market President will also be the face of the bank, representing the institution in various community, civic, and business organizations. Applicants for the Market President position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, with 10-20 years' of relevant banking and management experience. Strong regulatory and financial expertise within the banking industry is essential, as are proven skills in negotiation, underwriting, and credit analysis. The role requires a leader with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior leadership and the board, and a polished, professional presence. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead within a matrix organizational structure and a passion for driving profitable growth while fostering a high-performing team culture.
