Business Development Manager

Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Salary: 140k-160k + Commission (Based on Experience) Travel: Approximately 20–40% About the Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth within technical B2B manufacturing markets. This is a hands‑on role focused on developing new customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and identifying new market opportunities across multiple industrial sectors. Working closely with executive leadership and the marketing team, you'll play a key role in growing revenue, developing strategic partnerships, and building a strong sales pipeline. Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth. Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of target accounts. Grow existing customer relationships while identifying cross‑selling opportunities. Develop distributor, reseller, and strategic partner relationships. Conduct customer meetings, presentations, trade shows, and discovery sessions. Partner with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and customer outreach. Maintain CRM activity, sales forecasting, and pipeline reporting. Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity. Qualifications 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience. Proven success developing new business and growing strategic accounts. Experience selling technical products, engineered solutions, industrial services, or manufacturing solutions. Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline. Ability to understand technical products and manufacturing processes. Willingness to travel approximately 20–40%.
